A semester long group project for Human Centred Design designing for long-term care home, & Tableware is plate and cutlery set designed for those living with dementia. My group and I did secondary and primary research and synthesized what the key insights were around those living with dementia and their eating habits. We concluded that there was a gap in healthcare since the ritual of eating was a temporal landmark in people's lives and the current offerings are sterile and stigmatizing. We were seeking to bring back quality while adding aids for those living with dementia. Adding handles, a scooping section and a thought of dementia colour theory to help increase eating.

As a group we collaborated through the whole project, while my focus was centred around the plate design and colour theory as well as graphic details.

The project was exhibited in Design TO festival, however due to covid, it was held online.
